We are seeking a talented Strategic Marketing Engineer within our Aerospace and Defense Segment Marketing team focused on India.

Analog Devices Aerospace & Defense Business Unit (ADEF) provides solutions from Radio Frequency (RF) to bits to enable todays mission-critical platforms. We offer the industrys broadest portfolio of components and high-performance signal chain solutions, decades of system-level knowledge and expertise, custom modules, and subsystems.
: The ideal candidate has a combination of Aerospace and Defense market, and business experience coupled with a system engineering level understanding of hardware designs for Aviation (including eVTOL), RADAR, Electronic Warfare (EW), Space and/or Communications. Experience with RF and Microwave or digitization applications is a plus. The incumbent will build upon our leadership position implementing marketing strategies, business initiatives, partnerships, designs, and collateral in collaboration with our business development and sales teams throughout the region. The candidate will have sensibilities towards new disruptive companies and Govt labs where ADI will add value early in the design phase of projects/programs.
Candidate will clearly articulate findings with actionable tasks to move the customer engagement forward and provide details regarding the evolving ecosystem. Theyll possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated to drive actions and assignments to closure/hand-off, with our sales team. This role will interact with both small and large defense contractors.
This role will work collaborative with the internal Segment Marketing team, Sales and Technology Groups possessing an ability to support the creation of Total Addressable Market/Serviceable Available Market (TAM/SAM) for each region and/or by customer as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Co-create, update, and manage ASD subsegment strategies for India
- Closely align with and support the Aerospace & Defense Sales team to develop the business at Strategic and Key accounts as well as broad market and start-up customers.
- Interact with and provide guidance to sales and technical teams to create differentiated solutions for ADI Aerospace and Defense
- Engage with lead customers to identify system-level requirements, formulate partnership strategies, and drive deeper technical engagements.
- Focus on the customer and business growth to deliver superior customer outcomes and superior customer experience
- Identify and investigate emerging markets/applications to extend SAM and drive future growth, aligning the highest potential with either available or new technology opportunities as appropriate.
- Produce, track, and promote annual business and financial plans based on research, market data and customer inputs
- Help developing plans to attract increased government research contract funding
- Assist with special projects, corporate events, tradeshows, webinar, etc.
- Focus on execution and results with a high standard for performance
Requirements:
- Excellent English language skills

- Sensibility to disruption currently underway in the defense industry and how to open doors to new/start-up companies as well as prime contractors.
- Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another Technical Field (Experience may be used in lieu of education) - Master of Business Administration desirable but not a requirement.
- 5-10 years experience in the defense, electronics, and/or semiconductor industries
- Experienced and networked within the EU defense community.
- Creating Packaged Semiconductor solutions for the Aerospace Industry
- Serving in the Military in Strategy, Aviation, RADAR, EW, Space or Engineering
- Design Space, Military or Aviation Hardware with a focus on electronic systems
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- India citizen and ability to get [US] travel visa if/when necessary
- Familiarity with marketing tools (Power BI, MSD 365, PowerPoint, Market Analytic reports)
