Sr. Contracts Specialist

As a Sr. Contracts Specialist at Clario, you will play a critical role in strengthening the integrity, speed, and quality of our global Commercial Contracting operations. You ll independently lead the creation, negotiation, and management of complex agreements while ensuring our teams have the clarity, accuracy, and structure needed to operate confidently at scale.

What You ll Be Doing

• Independently create, conduct legal review, and negotiate NDAs, Work Orders (WOs), Start Up Agreements (SUAs), and Letters of Intent (LOIs) per Clario standards.

• Conduct independent legal review of Change Orders (COs) when required.

• Create, review, and negotiate MSAs, Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Stand Alone Agreements, and Data Privacy Agreements.

• 
  Manage and track escalations to Subject Matter Experts for terms outside Clario contracting standards and Playbook guidance.

• Review legal language and provide summaries or interpretive guidance as needed.

• Update, monitor, prioritize, and manage all assigned Salesforce cases.

• Enter key legal terms, data, and documents into Salesforce with strong attention to detail.

• Monitor centralized team email inboxes and take appropriate action.

• Lead updates to Commercial Contracts Quick Reference Guides and process flows.

• Conduct peer reviews, provide QC oversight, and support capability development of junior team members.

• Maintain organized file structures for all approvals, working versions, and executed agreements.

• Review, track, load, save, and communicate electronic signatures per Clario standards.

• Participate and/or lead departmental and cross functional projects.

• Contribute to Organizational Readiness initiatives and support audits as assigned.

• Manage assigned team members, ensuring strong performance, alignment, and growth.

What We Look For

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and contracting experience.

• 5+ years of commercial contracting experience, including complex and non standard agreements.

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Healthcare, or Clinical Trial environments preferred.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment with minimal supervision.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Word and Excel.

• Excellent risk assessment, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client facing skills.

• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as an individual contributor.

• Proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop staff.
